Emergency Broadcast
When something happens, an authorised user puts one message on selected screens or on every screen, in one action.
Who can start a broadcast
Only users with the emergency broadcast permission can start one. A person starts each broadcast. No automatic trigger starts it.
Where it shows
The message fills the screen on the screens that the user selects, or on every screen in the network.
How it fits the CMS
Emergency broadcast is part of normal CMS operation, with its own permissions and workflows. It is available on any screen network that runs Display Science software.
How it ends
The broadcast ends when the user stops it. Normal content then returns to every screen.
Other uses
The broadcast can be customised for other operational or commercial uses.
